I believe the best products start with
a deep understanding of people.

I fell in love with the study of human behavior while working in an anthropology research lab, and I’ve since become excited about the potential for research to inspire and inform the design of products that can make people’s lives better. My drive to deeply understand human needs, motivations, and experiences is at the core of everything I do.

I received my M.S. in Stanford’s Learning, Design, and Technology program, a multi-disciplinary program that merges human-computer interaction, learning sciences, and human-centered design. I’ve worked on projects for companies from small startups to established corporations like Coursera and AT&T.

In early qualitative interviews with parents, I noticed the guilt they felt around their children’s screentime. I turned to research literature on the ways that parents can support their children’s learning through joint media engagement, and created ConnectEDKid as a tool to empower busy parents to connect with their children around media and ultimately use media as a way to support their childrens’ SEL.
